Hoot, Hoot!!!

I am not going to say much, but rather let Morgan Lyon Cotti say it. This is a post copied from her blog and it looks like we might all (Chi-O alumnas) have to reach into our archive of memories and pull out a good one that might inspire you to give back. Unless you hate hate me, hate Morgan and hate Chi Omega...in which case, you are probably heartless, soulless and going to get struck by lightning.

Morgan's post:

This post is going to be a bit Chi O centric, but ladies, your sorority needs you! Many of you received an email letting you know that the main water line leading into the Chi O house in Salt Lake City recently burst. Insurance will cover all the damage it caused to the house, but will not cover fixing the water main itself, which they are expecting will be at least $10,000. Unfortunately, there is no emergency fund for this sort of thing, so the Chi Omega House Corp is asking for donations.

Now I know its been a while since any of us recited the Chi Omega symphony, stood on the stage for Song Fest, or cleaned up chicken poop from the latest Sigma Chi prank, but it is time to to return our thoughts to Chi Omega. Even if you only send $5 or $10, every bit helps! If you are not a Chi Omega, but love the beautiful old homes of Salt Lake and would like to help preserve one, we will accept your money as well! If you can help, please contact Elizabeth Watkins Gerner at elizabeth@simmonsfoundation.org or send a check made out to Chi Omega House Corporation to:

On a different note, Leslie Warnock recently suggested I organize a reunion for my pledge class. I am happy to do this, but will need help tracking down everyone's email addresses. If you pledged in 1998 (holy crap that was a long time ago) please email me your address at morganlyoncotti@gmail.com.

Chio love, up and down....Loved running into you cutie. It's so nice running into friends you haven't seen in a long time and feeling like it really hasn't been that long!

Yo, so I am not a chi-o, but many of my favorite people of the world are...such as yourself. Sad that I work at the family establishment and never see you. Of course, you probably stay away, but good golly gal. Um, so about that 4th of July post comment you made(way behind in life here) yes it was all your grandpa Bodell's stuff. Gotta love grandpa bodell's ingenuity. How is your grandma? Does your fam still have the ranch?Good times had there. Fill me in.

So sad that it happened. Glad that we are all willing to help and look forward to our reunion. I wish I could have seen you while I was in UT. Next time.
