so for a girl who's first boyfriend was kermit the frog, this is my most loved Christmas program. kermie is the narrator, big bird is the "star," but my heart warms most at the tale of ernie, bert and our beloved mr. hooper. this gift of the magi spin is undoubtedly my favorite. the soap dish, the cigar box, the love and generocity of mr. hooper. it's magic. if you have not seen this enchanted Christmas story, you have not truly enjoyed the holiday season. DO IT, NOW! i know i am going to dig up the old vhs at mark and annabel's and treat my self to a little Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. find it, watch it, love it!
