made a quick trip down south for the holiday weekend. brom's immediate and extended family celebrate Easter to the nines and we wanted in on the fun. the st. george arts festival is always on Easter weekend so we sauntered, mused and partook of some delicious filipino food (sidebar: i am embarrassed to say i didn't know that is how you spelled filipino, learn something new every day.) i mandated a cupcake from 25 main and made sure we had bread twists from the pizza factory. naturally, food comes first. later we stopped in at the outlet malls only to be reminded that there is nothing worth buying so we decided to catch a little monsters vs. aliens and had a good chuckle. all and all a very lovely weekend, great company and some much needed beautiful sunshine. at some point i realized this was my fifth Easter celebrating with brom and his family. my how time flies. oh, and yes, the Easter bunny did come...delicious.

Hey Marce! So my MIL just sent me a package of stuff she found while cleaning out her house. My Chi-O pins were in there and it made me so nostalgic. I really miss you! Hi hope you are doing well. PS guess who's in my ward here... Ryan Plew. He's so awesome and his new wife is a babe! Miss you!
