gobble, gobble...

thanksgiving was a great day and quite honestly an even greater weekend. i opted out of working on friday and it was so nice to have some time to relax, get organized and hang out with some of the people we love.

we participated in the second annual busath family gingerbread house making extravaganza and needless to say it was entertaining. the following structures were represented: hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, a historic italian bell tower, the lds salt lake temple, a motorhome, a wintery cabin, the parthenon and my favorite, bromley's stables for santa's reindeer at the north pole. all quite remarkable. let's just say it took me way too long to decide what to do and even longer to build it once i decided...hence the photo of chase and rich watching their watches. that is the last time i trash talk rich for taking so long last year. good times.

*yes, that is me nearly seven months expectant and looking closer to nine. here's hoping there is still room in my tummy for this little guy to grow.
