confessions of a relapsed addict. i am back on the sauce and i am a little concerned that it might turn into a problem again. i feel like i have reverted back to my college, stuck in the library or confined to the art building, days. i used to need this to get through my day without someone finding me in a gutter because i simply fell asleep there. lately, i feel myself, not needing (yet,) but wanting one very badly around lunch time. somedays i indulge, others i fight the urge, but one thing is for sure there is nothing safe about this drink. i know it might seem harmless all dressed up in a pretty can with swirling red font and fizzy bubbles, without calories and full of delicious, delicious aspartame, but it makes me shaky and unable to focus. the worst part is that it always leaves me wanting more....ugh....what to do?

my guide to life. seriously, the man is not only a genius but has changed the vocabulary of my home, my friends, my life. my husband now lovingly tells me to "make it work" and that his responses are "purely visceral." if you do not know Tim Gunn, you do not know anything about anything. Look into it. Bravo. Tim Gunn's guide to style (he's really the only thing interesting about the show, but well worth it) and, of course, PROJECT RUNWAY!!! Season 4 coming to a tv near you in October. whew. i was getting a little worried they were going to "pull a lost" and not air until 2008.
third....
i have been riding the bus and knowing that cold wet weather is on its way, i am on the hunt for some wellies to keep my tootsies nice and dry. the current debate is over the above yellow w/ turtles vs. the same in hot pink w/ english bulldogs on them (meaties {rob & big} as i like to call them.) can't find a pic of option #2 so just use your imagination.

First..diet coke..I feel you. I went off it while I was prego, now I am totally back on it..sorry, no advice.

Third..go yellow! Definitely makes me feel like they are rainboots. They are so darling.

1. Drinking one as I type and it's delicious. I get bad headaches when I'm pregnant and my dr. told me to consider drinking two a day. Love any dr. that prescribes that!
2. I was checking Bravo's website a few weeks ago concerned about the very thing. And did you see the season Santino would imitate him? Hilarious. Love it, love him.
3. Personal call, I like both, yellow might show scuffs sooner. Maybe you are more coordinated and don't scuff your shoes like I do mine.
Also, I will be in town the week of Halloween...does that work for you?

First, have you tried a diet coke with fresh lime from Sonic? I was hooked through my pregnancy and now am trying not to drink it. Not easy so no advice. Of all time I shouldn't' have been drinking it then.
Second, if you have pink boots I would go with the yellow. I love that you ride the bus and wish I could see you more often. You always make me smile.
Um, my vote is for the yellow boots. They are adorable. And although I know that you could make hot pink work with your color pallette (sp?), I see yellow in your future. Let me know how the decision comes out!

Yellow would brighten any rainy day, but Amy is right, it would scuff sooner. Plus, those little doggies on the pick ones would be cute and keep your little doggies safe from the rain.
My new fav treat: Fill the cup 90% full with Diet Coke, and top it off with a bit of Cherry Coke on top. So delicious.
I can just picture you wearing those yellow boots and I LOVE it. I can't wait to go to lunch again someday with all of us! And no, I don't know about Bravo?
