half baked...

i know, probably not entirely appropriate to use the title above when referencing ones posterity, but have i ever been entirely appropriate? i didn't think so. below are a few things that are making me happy today:

*i am 20 weeks into this adventure which means our baby is halfway done

*bromley celebrated his 27.5 birthday yesterday (we love half birthdays)

*in one week i will be wandering the streets of manhatten

*fall is in the air and there is just no denying it. besides, who would want to deny it?

*work has calmed down...a little

* some people very near and dear shared some great news with us yesterday,

but i can't share just yet seeing as it isn't my great news

hope you are having a nice day too. do you like my random spurts of blogging?

Your random blogging spurts go along quite nicely with my random blog-checking spurts. So jealous of your NY vacay!

OH we LOVE our ikea crib. I mainly love it because I can reach over the crib side easily. Jack's crib was a "normal" one and it was such a pain to try to reach over the crib and get him out. I am not the tallest girl on the block... so you know. The quality is great and it is super easy to put together or take it apart and it is now his toddler bed. So yes, I love it and highly recommend it. Best of luck!

Hey- So good to hear from you! My bag, oh the bag... it's a funny story. I saw it at (hold your breath) TJ Maxx Home Goods before I left for Dominica and loved it for a travel bag & diaper bag for the next one, but didn't really have the money for it then. When I got to Dominica I couldn't stop thinking about it (I know, so shallow), but it's really so fabulous and it was a GREAT deal (literally $300 off). So, 2 months later I sent my mom down there to see if they still had it and they did (and it was marked down another $100), so it was my early birthday gift:) Probably a longer story than you wanted to hear, but I feel like I have to tell the story and where it's from so you don't think I'm a total sucker and would spend that much on a bag. It's a david & scotti bag- they have a website, but i'm not sure where to buy them- this is my first time hearing about them. But honestly, best bag I've ever owned... I'm obsessed! Good luck... have you checked out Stork Sak, or Matt & Nat?

I just listed our crib & mattress on KSL if you are interested. We decided to put the boys in bunk beds for more space. You can check it out here:
