cute chelsea has tagged me to share my top 10 favorite food haunts. i love to eat and i love to eat out even more. i see it as a therapeutic and social experience. some of the following are heavy on on good food and some are good food and good ambiance....bottom line, this wasn't easy and i know i am going to post this and realize i forgot a favorite, or two, or three, but here they are without priority:
1. barbacoa - two steak tacos, chips and salsa and a drink, please
2. porcupine - house salad with tofu and a cup of their chicken noodle
3. zinn bistro - anything you get there is going to be fabulous, but i am in it for the bread basket
4. cucina toscana - best gnocci ever
5. cafe terigo - travis salad
6. robins nest - my very favorite sandwich: the madam, no tomato, with portabello and a "bath"
7. asian star - the walnut shrimp is impossible to rival with a cup of egg drop soup
8. the dodo - predictable, but reliable: the smoked turkey sandwich and baked cream cheese
9. market street - always good and always filling alaskan halibut or the fish and chips
10. szechwan - general tao's chicken, my favorite to date (sampan's is also delicious)
there you have it. i think i am going to go eat myself silly now. please do this....i am looking for new, fun places to try and i know you are out there with some great ideas.

hum, this makes me hungry! a fav spot of mine is blue plate, in sugar house at 21 s. & 21 E. it has all sorts of yummy home cooked food, and a great eclectic ambiance. or sugar house bbq, i love beef brisket. go try it when brom gets back, where is he by the way? hope you are well.
oooh- love reading this! i knew you'd have a good palette. one question? where is robin's nest? sounds good, i want to go there.
i don't have much going on next week. maybe we could catch a movie or something. let me know what night you are free...if any!
