a dear, dear friend gave me a DARLING handmade bib for the babe using this fabric. i was so excited about it, she suggested we go to the fabric store and procure some more. she kept telling me all the wonderful things i can do with fabric if i want to. little does she know that she is gifted and talented and these things do not come that easily to the rest of us. she makes darling, intricate clothing for her children. the only thing i have ever sewn is a little bag to put my shoes in. well, now i have one yard of this fun stuff, but not quite sure how to use it. i am thinking a pillow. i bought a zipper, now i just need to re-learn how to thread my machine and hop to. thank you friend for the great gift, the guided tour of the fabric store and the inspiration to do things with my own two hands. you rock!

I must tell you that I feel horrible about missing your shower!!! I wanted to badle to come shower you with baby blessings and much needed gifts. I think it came at a time in my life when i was half functioning off of steam and leftover spaghetti. I love you. More baby news pleas...are you ready?
